First, a correction: The male
Yellow-headed Blackbird reported last week was seen in New Scotland,
Albany County, not Churchtown, Columbia County. The bird was at a
feeder for a short time, departed and was not seen again.
This week Great Blue Herons, Ring-necked Ducks, Eastern Phoebes, and
Tree Swallows were showing up nearly everywhere. Other highlights
