eBird is a citizen science tool based at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. See their video to learn more about what eBird is and how to use it. Below are links to the eBird main pages for each of the counties in our area. These county pages are a good place to start if you're interested in recent local bird observations. Each county or region page also contains a link to bar charts specific to the region, showing the abundance of each species by week of the year. These regional pages are available for counties, states, and countries worldwide -- go to eBird's "Explore" page, and look for "Explore Regions".
